Lighthouse Writers Workshop: Poetic Forms. January 11-February 29, 2024, 1 to 3 PM each week. Register here. We’ll explore one poetic form each week, and wrap up the class by creating a brand new poetic form. This is great way to explore the building blocks of poetry. I love playing in forms! We’ll have a lot of fun.

Denver Public Library: The Artist’s Way. January 20, 2024, 11 AM to 2 PM. Register here. When I was just a young thing, Julia Cameron’s The Artist’s Way gave me the inspiration and grit I needed to become the writer and teacher I am today. It’s an amazing tool for both beginning and working artists. We’ll spend a half-day at Denver’s Eugene Field Branch library getting inspired to make 2024 a year of creativity, pleasure, and power.
