Hello!
I’m excited to share that each day in July, I’ll post here a draft of a poem I’ve written here, along with a note about what inspired the poem and a prompt for you to write a new poem of your own or take some creative action in the world.

July for me can be a slog, and I wanted the boost my energy by sharing my work with others. (Also, if I share drafts publicly on the blog, it can count as “published” by literary journals, too.) And I know many of my readers are writers or interested in creativity, and who doesn’t love prompts?
SO! If you’re a subscriber, you will receive each day in July a post from me that includes a draft of a poem I’ve written recently, a short note about the poem, and a prompt–either a writing prompt or an activity to do in the world.
If you’re in, and you’re not already a subscriber, click the “subscribe” button at the bottom of this post. I’ll see you July 1!
