30 Poems in 30 Days for Tupelo Press

Hello dear readers,

My writing of 30 poems in 30 days for Tupelo Press kicked off yesterday! You can read my poems for May 1 and 2 here.

As you’ll see, this project is a fundraiser for Tupelo Press. Tupelo was one of the first presses that came into my orbit when I was but a wee poet who barely knew how poems were made into books. Since then I’ve admired dozens of their books, and as you might recall, wrote about them recently for being a moral sentinel, too.

If you read my poems and want to donate, that would be wonderful. And you won’t just be supporting them, you’ll also be supporting me–writers who raise $750 for the press get to stay at Gentle House, their writing residence, for 5 nights.

And, as a fun gift, for everyone who donates $150 or more, you get to make up a title or give me a topic, and I’ll write that poem sometime this month! After you donate, send me a title or topic at oconnor_kimberly@yahoo.com

Here is where you can donate directly to Tupelo through my 30/30 page.

And here is where you can read my poems throughout the month-though I’ll occasionally be sharing parts of the poems here on my website, too.

Thank you for considering supporting me and Tupelo Press.
