Hi everyone,

For the very first time, I’m going to AWP! AWP is an annual conference of a whole bunch of writers. For the decade+ I was trying to publish my book, I avoided it because I felt like being around so many other writers would amplify negative energies that I tend toward sometimes when I’m not at my best (ahem/side-eye regret & envy). But now that I’m well into middle age, I am enlightened (ha!) and I am super excited to absorb the energy of being around other writers and artists, and otherwise prepared to lay in a hotel bed watching trash TV if I get overwhelmed! And people say the 40s aren’t amazing.
