Hi friends!

Every now and then, I get a grand vision for my website musings here, my “kinda bloggish” blog. I decide I’m gonna start doing X thing every X weeks and that will be WHAT I DO NOW.

Then life happens and I don’t do the thing every X weeks and then lots of time goes by.

I’ve had another grand vision that I think might work for me: I’m gonna write here sporadically, about whatever is on my mind! Perhaps sometimes regularly, sometimes with long, long gaps in between. I think this time it’s gonna work out!

Anyway, hi! What have you been up in these [insert adjective of your choice here] times?

I’ve been collaging this summer! I’ll post some pics below, but first, I also want to let you know that if you are in the Denver area, I’m up to one specific thing on Friday, July 24: I’m co-leading a hike with Heather H, a fabulous yoga teacher and founder of H2 Movement. Actually, Heather is leading the hike, and along the way, I’ll offer some creative inspirations (short poems, ideas, prompts) for some journaling along the hike.

Friday July 24
8 AM to around 11 AM

8am meet up in the Golden Safeway parking lot (SW corner near Jackson & 18th). Optional group lunch afterwards back in Golden.

We’ll carpool to the trailhead & explore a portion of the Chavez – Beaver Brook trail as an out and back hike. This trail offers a mix of sun and shade. Please bring water, journal, pen or pencil, and anything you want for the hike (hat, sunscreen, etc), and wear comfy, close-toed shoes.
